About the Position

This permanent, full-time position will involve teaching TAS, with Design and Technology experience required. The school is ready to interview immediately and can accommodate either an ASAP commencement or a Term 4, 2026 start. This role would suit a qualified teacher who is confident delivering practical and theory-based Design and Technology learning and can contribute effectively within an Islamic school environment.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging TAS lessons, including Design and Technology, aligned with NSW curriculum requirements.
• Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, welfare and safe practice within classroom and practical learning environments.
• Communicate clearly with students, families and colleagues regarding learning, progress and classroom expectations.
• Collaborate with teaching colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment and the delivery of TAS programs.
• Provide clear classroom leadership and establish an environment that supports student participation, skill development and achievement.

Requirements

Design and Technology: Experience teaching Design and Technology is required.

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain accreditation with NESA.

Work Rights: Full Australian working rights are essential for this role.

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE's onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
