About the Role

The school is seeking a Primary Teacher to join its team from Term 1, 2027.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned learning across the Primary curriculum and create a positive classroom environment where students are supported academically, socially and personally.

The successful candidate will initially be offered a fixed-term contract through to the end of the 2027 school year. There is potential for renewal and permanency thereafter, subject to suitability and performance.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning programs across the Primary curriculum.

• Build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while supporting learning across broader curriculum areas.

• Differentiate learning to meet a range of student needs and abilities.

• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to students and families.

• Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice.

• Collaborate with Primary colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain VIT

• Relevant Primary teaching qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum

• Effective classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students

• Willingness to respect and support the Islamic ethos and values of the school

• Full Australian working rights

• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
