An opportunity is available for a qualified Primary Teacher to join the school's Bath Campus, teaching Year 1 students. This full-time, 12-month position is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with younger learners and is confident supporting early literacy, numeracy and social development.

• Employment: Full-time, 12-month contract

• Commencement: January 2027 (Term 1)

• Salary:$96,000–$136,000 + super, increasing to $100,000–$142,000 from 3 March 2027

• Relocation:$3,000 relocation support plus three days' accommodation upon arrival

Skills and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum, with a strong focus on foundational literacy and numeracy.

• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment that prioritises student wellbeing and safeguarding.

• Build positive relationships with students and families, maintaining clear communication about learning and development.

• Collaborate with teaching colleagues and support staff to meet individual learning needs and strengthen student outcomes.

• Contribute to the school's Catholic ethos, professional learning and wider school community.

Requirements

• Registration with, or eligibility for registration with, the Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board (TRB NT).

• Recognised Primary Teaching qualification, ideally with experience or expertise in lower primary education.

• Full Australian working rights. Overseas-trained teachers are welcome to apply; employer sponsorship is not available.

• Ability to support the values and ethos of a Catholic school.

• Two professional referees and willingness to complete HARKE Recruitment's safeguarding and onboarding requirements.
