Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and relevant senior secondary requirements.

Support student literacy, critical thinking and academic achievement within a safe and inclusive classroom.

Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues regarding progress and learning needs.

Collaborate with the English teaching team on curriculum planning, assessment and teaching strategies.

Contribute to curriculum improvement and the College's wider educational community.
Requirements

Registration with or eligibility for the Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board (TRB NT).

Relevant Secondary English teaching qualifications.

Ability to teach senior secondary English would be highly regarded.

Full Australian working rights.

Two professional referees and successful completion of HARKE Recruitment's safeguarding and onboarding requirements, including eligibility for an Ochre Card.
