About the Role
The school is seeking two Year Level Leaders to commence in Term 1, 2027. These are ongoing teaching positions with a three-year leadership appointment, combining classroom teaching with responsibility for the pastoral care, wellbeing and development of students within a designated year level.
The school can be flexible around teaching methods, allowing the successful candidates' classroom loads to be structured around their subject strengths and experience.
Skills and Responsibilities

Provide pastoral and organisational leadership for students within the designated year level, supporting engagement, wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding and work closely with students, families and relevant staff to address individual needs.

Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned teaching within the successful candidate’s specialist subject area.

Collaborate with teachers, wellbeing staff and school leadership to provide consistent support and communication across the year level.

Contribute to the wider leadership of the school and actively support its Catholic values, ethos and community.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

Relevant secondary teaching qualifications

Experience in pastoral care, student wellbeing, year-level coordination or school leadership would be highly regarded

Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills

Willingness to support and uphold the school’s Catholic ethos and values
