About the Role
The school is seeking a full-time VCE Geography Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2027. The successful teacher will have strong Geography curriculum knowledge and the confidence to deliver engaging senior secondary learning. The broader teaching load can be discussed based on the successful candidate’s additional teaching areas and strengths.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Geography programs, including VCE Geography.

Support students to develop geographical knowledge, fieldwork, research, data analysis and critical thinking skills.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice.

Assess student learning and communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding progress and achievement.

Collaborate with faculty colleagues and contribute positively to curriculum development and the wider Catholic school community.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

Relevant secondary teaching qualifications

Demonstrated ability to teach Geography, with VCE experience highly regarded

Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
