About the Role
This full-time fixed-term position, commencing at the end of May 2026 through to November 2026, involves teaching Maths across Years 8-10. The role suits an adaptable educator who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons while supporting students to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and strong numeracy foundations. Teachers will work collaboratively within a supportive faculty and contribute positively to student learning and wellbeing.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for Years 8-10
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff while contributing to a positive school culture
Requirements
- Current or eligibility for VIT registration
- Full Australian working rights
- Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
