About the Position
This full-time, fixed-term position commencing in Term 3 involves teaching a Year 5 class. The successful candidate will join a welcoming and committed team, delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned learning experiences across Key Learning Areas. The role provides a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully during the second half of the school year and support students in their academic and personal development.
 

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for a Year 5 class.

  • Promote student well-being and uphold safeguarding practices.

  • Maintain clear, effective communication with students, families, and staff.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and participate in school-wide initiatives.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners.
     

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
