About the Position
This full-time position involves teaching a primary class, ideally Years 3 and 4. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences across all key learning areas. With a strong focus on supporting student growth and wellbeing, the teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider community to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values connection, adaptability, and purposeful teaching in a remote setting.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for a Years 3–4 class across all subject areas.

  • Ensure student safety and wellbeing through adherence to safeguarding practices.

  • Communicate clearly and positively with students, families, and colleagues to build strong relationships.

  • Collaborate with other staff to support holistic student development and school-wide initiatives.

  • Demonstrate leadership and flexibility in adapting to the needs of a remote classroom environment.


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NT Teacher Registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
