About the Role
This full-time contract position commencing Term 3, 2026 involves teaching a Grade 3 class, covering a teacher on leave. A two-week handover at the end of Term 2 will support a smooth transition into the role. The successful teacher will join a collaborative team of three other Grade 3 teachers, working within a structured and well-planned program. The role suits an educator who values teamwork, consistency, and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that support student learning and development
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment with a strong focus on student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and families
- Collaborate with the Grade 3 team to plan, assess, and refine teaching programs
- Contribute positively to team culture and support whole-school initiatives
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for VIT
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
