About the Position
This fixed-term position, commencing in Term 3, 2025, involves teaching a Year 3 class within a values-based and supportive setting. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum, build strong relationships with students and families, and contribute positively to the school’s collaborative culture. Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for a Year 3 class.

  • Ensure student safety and well-being in line with safeguarding policies.

  • Collaborate with team members to support student learning and pastoral care.

  • Contribute to a positive classroom environment through effective behaviour and learning support strategies.

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
