About the Position

The successful candidate will commence immediately and teach Chemistry to Year 11 students and General Science to Years 8 and 10. Strong curriculum knowledge, particularly in senior Chemistry, and a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective science instruction is essential.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Chemistry (Year 11) and General Science (Years 8 and 10)

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum

  • Track and report on student progress using school reporting systems

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and assessment

  • Uphold and support the school’s values and learning culture


Requirements

  • Registration: Valid VIT registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential

  • Safeguarding: Candidates must provide two referees and complete HARKE’s child safety onboarding process
