About the Position

This Humanities Teacher position will commence from Term 3, 2025 and involves teaching Business, Economics and Humanities to students in Year 7-12. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and growing team committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences. The school is seeking educators who are flexible, passionate, and committed to supporting students in achieving their personal and academic goals.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons within Business, Economics and Humanities

  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment in line with safeguarding practices

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with students, families, and colleagues

  • Work collaboratively with the school’s leadership and teaching teams to support academic and co-curricular outcomes

  • Provide effective classroom leadership and model positive behaviour and expectations


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
