About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 3 (or earlier by negotiation) involves teaching a Year 1 class with a focus on Early Years teaching practices. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of developmental learning needs and a willingness to differentiate teaching to support a diverse group of learners.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver curriculum-aligned learning experiences tailored to the developmental needs of Year 1 students

Uphold the safety, well-being, and welfare of all students, following safeguarding procedures

Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and staff

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement engaging learning programs

Demonstrate initiative and leadership within the classroom and school community
Requirements
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
