About the Position

This full-time, ongoing position will commence at the start of Term 1, 2026. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics and Science across Years 7–9, working within a dedicated team that encourages inquiry, curiosity, and critical thinking. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire students through engaging lessons and contribute to the school’s strong academic and co-curricular programs.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Science for Years 7–9

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported

  • Use assessment data to guide differentiated teaching and learning

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance curriculum design

  • Participate in co-curricular and wellbeing initiatives across the school


Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Full Australian working rights

  • A genuine passion for teaching and learning

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and student engagement

  • Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
