About the Position
This full-time position involves teaching either a Prep or Year 6 class from Term 1, 2027.
The initial appointment will be a 12-month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position if the appointment is successful and all parties are happy to continue.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver engaging learning programs, support student development and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive:

A salary between $86,600 and $124,724, depending on qualifications and recognised teaching experience

Salary progression up to $147,048 for teachers holding Lead Teacher classification

Employer superannuation contributions of 12.75%

Relocation assistance of between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on the candidate’s current location

Access to salary packaging, which may reduce taxable income and increase take-home pay
Relocation funding can be used for eligible expenses that support the move. Candidates must provide either an invoice for the school to pay directly or a complete receipt to claim reimbursement.

Requirements
Teaching Experience: Candidates must be qualified and confident planning and teaching in line with the Australian curriculum.
Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
Catholic Ethos: Applicants must be willing to support and contribute to the Catholic values and ethos of the school.
Work Rights: Candidates must hold full Australian working rights.
Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
