About the Position

An opportunity is available for a Year 4 Teacher to join the school from Term 1, 2027. The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering an engaging and well-structured primary curriculum while supporting the academic, social and personal development of students. This position would suit a teacher who values positive relationships, collaboration and creating an inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to achieve their potential.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging Year 4 learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum and student learning needs.
  • Safeguarding: Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment with student wellbeing at the centre of practice.
  • Communication: Build positive and professional relationships with students, parents and the wider school community.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teaching colleagues and school leadership to support consistent learning outcomes and whole-school initiatives.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate initiative and contribute positively to the culture, activities and broader life of the school.

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are required.
