About the Position
The school is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join the primary team from Term 3, 2026. This role involves delivering engaging and structured learning experiences that support students academically, socially, and emotionally during an important stage of their primary years. The successful teacher will create a positive classroom environment, build strong relationships with students and families, and work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and wellbeing.
Skills and Responsibilities
Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum
Safeguarding: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment in line with Child Safe Standards
Communication: Build professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues through clear and effective communication
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teaching teams to support student learning and whole-school initiatives
Leadership: Contribute positively to the school community and model the school’s values and expectations
Requirements
Registration: Current QCT registration or eligibility to obtain
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
Safeguarding: Ability to provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
