About the Position

This ongoing full-time opportunity is suited to a Woodwork or Product Design teacher confident delivering engaging, practical lessons across secondary year levels. The successful educator will foster creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills within a well-resourced Technology faculty. Teachers who can create a safe, structured, and engaging workshop environment will thrive in this setting.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Woodwork and Product Design lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment, adhering to all OH&S and safeguarding requirements.
  • Differentiate learning to support students with varying practical and theoretical skill levels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Technologies faculty and wider school community.
  • Foster strong student engagement, creativity, and practical problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.
  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
