About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching Woodwork to junior secondary students. Starting in Term 3 or later in the term by agreement, the role is ideal for an educator with a passion for hands-on learning, safety, and skill development. The successful candidate will join a supportive faculty that values practical education and aims to engage students in meaningful, project-based learning experiences.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Woodwork lessons to junior secondary students

Uphold safety and wellbeing standards within the workshop environment

Contribute to the planning and delivery of technology-based curriculum

Requirements
- Registration: Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are required
- Safeguarding: Candidates must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
