Salary Range: $79,000–$117,000 plus super

About the Position

This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching Woodwork to junior secondary students. Starting in Term 3 or later in the term by agreement, the role is ideal for an educator with a passion for hands-on learning, safety, and skill development. The successful candidate will join a supportive faculty that values practical education and aims to engage students in meaningful, project-based learning experiences.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Woodwork lessons to junior secondary students

  • Uphold safety and wellbeing standards within the workshop environment

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and colleagues

  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of technology-based curriculum

  • Promote creativity, precision, and problem-solving within a structured, supportive setting

Requirements

  • Registration: Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are required
  • Safeguarding: Candidates must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
