About the School
HARKE has partnered with an independent education provider in Gippsland that delivers an alternative approach to secondary education for students who benefit from flexible and highly personalised learning pathways. The school operates with small class sizes of approximately 8-15 students and follows a primary generalist teaching model rather than traditional subject-based specialist teaching. Every student has an individualised learning plan, with projects and programs tailored to their goals, strengths, and support needs. The school also works closely with industry partners to provide hands-on learning experiences and vocational pathways, including RTO opportunities that help students build practical skills for future employment and further study.
About the Role
This full-time leadership position will oversee student wellbeing across multiple campuses while supporting a team of wellbeing professionals. Working closely with students, families, teachers, and external agencies, the Wellbeing Lead will develop and implement proactive wellbeing strategies that support engagement, attendance, personal growth, and successful educational outcomes.
This role is ideally suited to a strong relationship manager who can build trust with young people, navigate complex support needs, and foster positive connections across the school community. Travel between campuses is required, with access to a company pool vehicle provided. A current driver's licence is therefore essential. Due to the highly individualised nature of the student cohort, the school is seeking candidates who are committed to working collaboratively and building meaningful relationships with students and families.
