About the Role

The school is seeking a Part-Time VM Teacher commencing Term 3, 2026, with the possibility of ongoing employment into 2027. The role involves teaching Year 11 and 12 Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) and Vocational Major (VM) students in Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills. This position includes job-share arrangements across some classes within the allotment and would suit an educator who values practical, student-centred learning within a supportive team environment.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging VM programs including Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills
  • Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing, and classroom management
  • Communicate professionally with students, colleagues, and families
  • Collaborate effectively within the VM team and broader school community
  • Contribute positively to a faith-based and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Commitment to supporting Catholic education and contemporary pedagogy
  • Ability to meet child safeguarding requirements, including provision of referees and HARKE onboarding processes
