About the Role

This fixed-term position covers a long service leave period during the first seven weeks of Term 3, 2026. The successful teacher will deliver Visual Arts across Years 5-11, working within a collaborative Arts faculty that values creativity, student engagement, and high-quality teaching practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator seeking a short-term contract within a supportive school community.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Visual Arts lessons across Years 5-11
  • Foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression in students
  • Support student wellbeing and maintain a safe learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the Arts faculty and contribute to curriculum planning

Requirements

  • Current NESA accreditation or eligibility to obtain accreditation
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Two professional referees
  • Completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding requirements
