About the Position This full-time, permanent role commencing in Term 2, 2025 involves teaching Visual Arts across Years 7 to 12. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that foster creativity and artistic expression, while helping students build confidence in a variety of visual mediums. Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Visual Arts lessons to students in Years 7–12

  • Uphold safeguarding and wellbeing policies to ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support positive learning outcomes

  • Collaborate with the broader faculty to enhance arts education and co-curricular opportunities

  • Lead by example, inspiring students to explore creative expression and develop technical art skills

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NESA accreditation and NSW Working with Children Check

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
