About the Position

An opportunity has become available for a Visual Art Teacher to join a growing secondary faculty from Term 3, 2026. This role offers the chance to inspire students through creative and practical learning experiences while contributing to a vibrant arts program. The position will commence as a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Visual Art programs aligned with curriculum requirements.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusive classroom practice.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding student progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to develop innovative learning experiences and assessment practices.

Requirements

  • Hold or be eligible for NESA Teacher Accreditation.
  • Have relevant qualifications and experience teaching Visual Art.
  • Hold full working rights in Australia.
  • Provide two professional referees and complete safeguarding requirements as part of the recruitment process.
