About the Role
This full-time, fixed-term position commencing Term 3, 2026 involves teaching Visual Arts across the secondary years. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression. Working within a collaborative Arts faculty, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to exhibitions, co-curricular programs, and the broader creative life of the school.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Visual Arts lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Arts faculty and wider school
- Contribute to exhibitions, co-curricular programs, and school initiatives
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for NESA
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
