Salary Range: $85,000–$134,000 plus super (pro rata)

About the Position
This ongoing part-time position, commencing in Term 3 or earlier by negotiation, involves teaching Visual Arts to students from Years 7 to 12. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, inspire artistic expression, and contribute to the school’s creative culture. This role provides an excellent opportunity to join a committed team in a vibrant school community.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Visual Arts lessons for Years 7–12

  • Ensure student safety and wellbeing in line with school safeguarding policies

  • Maintain clear and open communication with students, families, and staff

  • Collaborate with teaching teams to support student learning and school initiatives

  • Contribute positively to the school’s co-curricular and arts programs


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
