About the Position
This ongoing part-time position, commencing in Term 3 or earlier by negotiation, involves teaching Visual Arts to students from Years 7 to 12. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, inspire artistic expression, and contribute to the school’s creative culture. Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Visual Arts lessons for Years 7–12

Ensure student safety and wellbeing in line with school safeguarding policies

Maintain clear and open communication with students, families, and staff

Collaborate with teaching teams to support student learning and school initiatives

Contribute positively to the school’s co-curricular and arts programs
Requirements
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
