About the Position

This full-time, ongoing role commences in Term 3 and involves teaching Visual Art to students from Year 7 to Year 12. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned art lessons that nurture creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression across a range of mediums and styles.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver curriculum-based Visual Art lessons to students in Years 7–12.

  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment aligned with safeguarding practices.

  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and families to support student development.

  • Work collaboratively within the department and across the school to enhance learning outcomes.

  • Provide leadership within the classroom, encouraging student confidence and creativity.


Relocation Support

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
