About the Position
This role involves delivering the VCE Vocational Major program, supporting students in developing practical skills and pathways into further education, training, or employment. The position suits an educator who is passionate about applied learning and can engage students through real-world, relevant curriculum delivery within a supportive and structured environment.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging VCE VM curriculum, supporting applied and vocational learning pathways
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices and support student wellbeing in all interactions
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding progress and goals
- Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency in program delivery and student support
- Demonstrate leadership in the classroom, guiding students towards positive post-school outcomes
Requirements
- Registration with VIT or eligibility to obtain
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience teaching VCE VM or applied learning programs is highly regarded
- Ability to provide two referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
