About the Position

This full-time position will commence in Term 2, 2026 and run until the end of 2026. The role involves teaching VCE Specialist Mathematics and VCE Chemistry, alongside Junior Science classes. The successful teacher will deliver engaging and rigorous lessons that support strong analytical thinking, problem solving and scientific inquiry while contributing to the ongoing development of the Mathematics and Science faculties.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver VCE Specialist Mathematics, VCE Chemistry and Junior Science curriculum aligned with Victorian curriculum and VCE requirements
• Uphold safeguarding practices and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding student progress
• Collaborate with faculty teams to support curriculum planning and strong student outcomes
• Contribute to the continued development of the Mathematics and Science programs

Requirements

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT Teacher Registration.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
