About the Position

This full-time, ongoing position commencing in Semester 2, 2026 is suited to a Mathematics teacher confident across Years 7–12, including senior pathways. The role requires the ability to deliver engaging and rigorous Mathematics programs, with a particular focus on Year 11 and 12 Maths Methods and Specialist Maths. The successful candidate will contribute to a strong Mathematics faculty and support students in achieving high academic outcomes.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver curriculum-aligned Mathematics programs across Years 7–12, including Maths Methods and Specialist Maths.
  • Ensure student safety and wellbeing, adhering to all safeguarding and duty of care requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate within the Mathematics faculty to plan, assess, and refine teaching practice.
  • Demonstrate leadership in the classroom, supporting high expectations and academic growth.

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.
  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
