Updated salary and employment conditions for Victorian Catholic schools are expected for 2027, with the next enterprise agreement currently being progressed. Further remuneration details will be available once the new agreement is finalised.

About the Position

The College is seeking an experienced VCE Mathematics Teacher to join its Senior School from January 2027 in a full-time, ongoing position.

The successful teacher will demonstrate strong VCE Mathematics teaching capability and the ability to support students towards high academic outcomes. The ability to teach an additional VCE subject will be highly regarded, particularly VCE Physics.

This opportunity would suit an experienced senior secondary teacher seeking an ongoing position within a well-resourced, academically focused Catholic girls' school.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous VCE Mathematics programs aligned with Victorian Curriculum and VCAA requirements.

  • Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and professional conduct.

  • Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning progress and achievement.

  • Collaborate with Mathematics and Senior School teams to support curriculum development, assessment and consistent teaching practice.

  • Contribute expertise across senior secondary teaching, with an additional VCE subject such as Physics highly regarded.

Requirements

  • Registration with, or eligibility for registration with, the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

  • Demonstrated experience teaching VCE Mathematics.

  • Ability to teach another VCE subject is advantageous, with VCE Physics particularly attractive.

  • Full Australian work rights.

  • Ability to support the values and ethos of a Catholic school community.

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE's onboarding and safeguarding requirements.
