About the Position

This full-time, ongoing position will commence at the start of Term 1, 2026. The role requires a teacher with solid experience teaching VCE English, capable of engaging senior students through critical thinking, analysis, and discussion. You’ll join a dedicated English faculty that values reflective practice, shared learning, and consistent academic growth across all levels.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging VCE English lessons that challenge and inspire students

  • Provide meaningful feedback and support student success in assessment and exam preparation

  • Collaborate with faculty members to enhance curriculum and resources

  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives and co-curricular programs

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven classroom culture

Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Demonstrated experience teaching VCE English

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
