About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position commences at the start of Term 1, 2026. The successful applicant will teach English across Years 7–12, with a particular focus on VCE English. You’ll be joining a collegial and passionate English faculty that values creative and analytical learning, encourages critical thinking, and supports students to achieve strong VCE outcomes.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across junior and senior levels

Support VCE students in developing advanced analytical, writing, and interpretation skills

Use data and feedback to guide teaching practice and enhance student progress

Contribute to the ongoing development of English curriculum and assessment programs

Engage actively in co-curricular and wellbeing initiatives that enrich school life
Requirements

Current or eligibility for VIT registration

Full Australian working rights

Experience teaching VCE English (preferred)

Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
