About the Role

This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching English across Years 7–12, including VCE. The role begins in Term 1, 2026. The successful applicant will join a committed English faculty focused on effective learning, student engagement, and strong curriculum practice. The school promotes professional development and provides opportunities to contribute to broader school programs.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons across Years 7–12, including VCE

  • Support student learning through effective assessment and feedback practices

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and teaching practice

  • Contribute to co-curricular or wellbeing initiatives within the school community

Requirements

  • Registration with or eligibility for VIT

  • Full Australian work rights

  • Two referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
