About the Role
This full-time role, commencing Term 1, 2026, involves teaching VCE English alongside Years 7–10 Religious Education. The successful teacher will join a collaborative faculty committed to strong literacy development, critical thinking, and thoughtful exploration of faith perspectives. Experience teaching both English and Religious Education is desirable.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in VCE English and Years 7–10 Religious Education

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom that supports student wellbeing

  • Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues

  • Collaborate with faculty teams to enhance planning, assessment, and shared practice

  • Contribute to broader school programs, initiatives, and community life

Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Full Australian work rights

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
