About the Role
The College is seeking a dedicated and relational teacher to join their team, delivering Year 7-12 English and Literature. The school is looking for someone who is passionate about language and literature, committed to inspiring students, and eager to contribute to a vibrant Christian learning community.

Interviews are taking place as soon as possible, with a preferred start date of 21st July (notice periods can be negotiated). The school is open to offering either an ongoing or fixed-term contract, depending on your preferences.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English and Literature lessons at VCE level

  • Build meaningful relationships with students and families, grounded in care and high expectations

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning outcomes

  • Participate in the broader life of the school through pastoral care, events, and staff fellowship

  • Reflect on your teaching practice and seek opportunities for growth and impact

Requirements

  • Registration: Full VIT registration is essential

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are required

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
