About the Position
The College is seeking an experienced VCE Business Management Teacher to commence in January 2027.
The successful teacher will have strong knowledge of the VCE Business Management curriculum and experience supporting senior students through assessment and examination preparation. Additional teaching subjects will be confirmed based on the successful teacher’s experience and subject strengths, allowing some flexibility within the teaching load.
HARKE will prioritise teachers who can demonstrate successful VCE teaching experience, strong senior student outcomes and clear alignment with the College’s Christian ethos.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality VCE Business Management programs aligned with Victorian curriculum and assessment requirements.

Prepare senior students effectively for SACs, examinations and successful VCE outcomes.

Teach additional subjects within the teacher’s areas of experience, with the final load confirmed by the College.

Maintain strong expectations around student wellbeing, safeguarding and pastoral care.

Actively support and model the College’s Christian values, faith and educational ethos.

Confirmed current church attendance, including the church attended.

A confirmed pastoral referee who can speak to the applicant’s Christian faith and involvement.

Requirements

Registration: Candidates must hold current VIT registration or be eligible to obtain registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Faith Requirements: Applicants must confirm their current church, alignment with the College’s Christian values and ethos, and availability of a suitable pastoral referee.
