About the Role
This part-time (0.6) position focuses on delivering a Transition to Kindergarten program designed to support young learners as they prepare for formal schooling. The role involves working closely with families, staff, and the wider community to ensure a positive and engaging start to each child’s educational journey. Teachers are supported with resources and collaboration to create a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver a structured, play-based transition program aligned to early learning frameworks
- Support student wellbeing, safety, and development through inclusive practices
- Communicate effectively with families to support school readiness and engagement
- Collaborate with early years staff and leadership to ensure continuity of learning
- Contribute to program development and continuous improvement of early years initiatives
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for NESA
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
