About the Position
This role involves teaching Junior Design & Technology to Years 7–8, within a program that blends Systems and Product Design. The successful candidate will have significant scope to help shape the direction of the curriculum, with flexibility in delivery and a strong emphasis on new and emerging technologies. The school welcomes teachers from both Technology and Science backgrounds who are interested in hands-on, project-based learning. The position is currently 0.6 FTE, with the option to combine with subjects such as PE, Science, or Maths to build a full-time load.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Design & Technology lessons for Years 7–8.

Maintain high standards of student safety, welfare, and safeguarding.

Requirements
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
