About the Role

This full-time position commencing ASAP in Term 2, 2026 involves supporting the Technology faculty across Wood, Systems, DDT, and Computing subjects. Working closely with the Technology Learning Leader and teaching staff, the successful candidate will assist with the preparation of classroom materials, routine maintenance of tools and equipment, and the smooth day-to-day operation of the learning area. The role also supports practical classroom activities while ensuring strong observance of workplace health and safety practices.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials, equipment, and resources for Technology classes across Wood, Systems, DDT, and Computing
  • Assist teaching staff during practical classes and support positive student engagement
  • Undertake routine maintenance and organisation of tools, machinery, and learning spaces
  • Maintain safe work practices and support adherence to OHS requirements within workshop environments
  • Collaborate with Technology staff to support the efficient operation of the faculty and positive learning outcomes

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within Technology, workshop, trade, or school support environments highly regarded
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage equipment and materials efficiently
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Two referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding requirements
