This role involves teaching Senior English, including Year 10, VCE English, and VCE Literature, with the possibility of also teaching some middle years Religious Education. The position suits an educator who is confident in senior curriculum delivery and can engage students in both analytical and critical thinking within a structured and supportive environment. Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English curriculum across Year 10 and VCE, including Literature
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices and support student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and student outcomes
- Demonstrate leadership in the classroom through structured and engaging teaching
- Registration with VIT or eligibility to obtain
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience teaching VCE English and/or Literature
- Ability to teach Religious Education is advantageous
- Ability to provide two referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
