About the Role
This 12-month contract position combines the responsibilities of Librarian with a classroom teaching load, approximately split between library leadership and teaching. The teaching component may include English, literacy, or another subject aligned with the successful candidate’s expertise. The role focuses on supporting information literacy, developing a strong reading culture, and delivering engaging classroom programs while maintaining a dynamic and well-resourced library environment.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging teaching programs in English, literacy, or a related subject aligned with the NSW curriculum

Lead the development and daily operation of the school library as an active learning and research hub

Promote reading engagement, information literacy, and digital research skills across year levels

Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum resources, literacy initiatives, and research programs

Maintain strong communication with staff, students, and families while contributing to the wider school community
