About the Role

This full-time, 12-month contract role involves teaching TAS across the secondary years, with a particular focus on Computing Technology in Years 9 and 10. The TAS faculty includes subjects such as Computing Technology, Design and Technology, Digital Technologies, Food Technology, and a range of TAS electives.

The role suits a teacher who is confident delivering both practical and theory-based learning and is motivated to contribute to the ongoing development of programs and resources within the faculty.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging TAS lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum, including Computing Technology and practical project-based learning
  • Maintain safe workshop and classroom environments, ensuring a strong focus on student wellbeing and WHS
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with faculty members to develop, review, and enhance TAS programs and resources
  • Contribute to faculty initiatives and continuous improvement within the TAS department

Requirements

  • Registration with or eligibility for NESA
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
