About the Role
This full-time teaching position involves working with students who have diverse learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Every student follows an individualised learning plan, with projects and learning experiences tailored to their goals, interests, and support requirements.
The school is seeking a relationship-focused educator who can create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment while adapting programs to meet individual student needs. Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated learning programs tailored to individual student needs
- Build strong and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Collaborate with staff to develop and review individual learning plans
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment
Requirements
- Current or eligible VIT registration
- Experience working with students requiring additional learning and wellbeing support highly regarded
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between campuses using a company pool vehicle if required
- Full Australian working rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
