Lead curriculum where it matters most — in the real world, for real students.
This is a leadership opportunity with heart and purpose. Join a school that’s committed to helping regional students succeed on pathways that reflect who they are and what they care about.
HARKE Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-regarded independent school in Regional North-West Queensland to appoint a Senior Secondary Curriculum Coordinator from Term 1, 2026. This is a key leadership role focused on making the senior curriculum work practically and powerfully for students in Years 10–12 — many of whom are hands-on learners from rural or regional backgrounds.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll guide and support both staff and students through the complexities of senior secondary studies, including QCAA requirements, subject pathways, and post-school options. You'll collaborate closely with the Deputy Principals to design and deliver a curriculum that’s not only compliant — but also meaningful, accessible, and aligned with the strengths of your learners.
This is not about hierarchy or titles — it’s about mindset. We’re looking for someone who knows curriculum inside and out, and who’s ready to lead from the middle: a practical thinker, a system-builder, and a team supporter.

-
Lead QCAA curriculum implementation across Years 10–12

Oversee SET planning and subject selection processes
-

-
Full-time, permanent position with significant leadership responsibility
-

Be part of a school community that is future-focused but relationship-led
The Ideal Candidate
-
Has strong working knowledge of the QCAA senior secondary curriculum

Full working rights in Australia
-
Willingness to provide 2–3 references and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet child safeguarding requirements
