Senior School Music Teacher
Salary Range: Up to $122,095 + super
Type of School: Independent P–12 School in Regional Victoria

About the School

HARKE has partnered with a highly regarded independent school in North Central Victoria around 2 hours from Melbourne, known for academic excellence, capped class sizes, and a culture that celebrates both tradition and innovation. With over 1,250 students and enrolments capped at many year levels, the school is well-resourced, progressive, and offers outstanding support and development for staff.

Music is a cornerstone of the school’s identity, with one of the most comprehensive and vibrant music programs in the region. The department continues to grow each year, offering students diverse opportunities to perform, compete, and thrive musically – from the classroom to the concert hall.

From 2026, teachers who take on a pastoral lead role will also benefit from a 0.1 FTE allocation built into their load. A 30% fee discount applies for staff children, and staff are encouraged to participate in co-curricular life, which sits outside standard classroom hours.
