About the Role
This full-time fixed-term leave replacement position commences on 14 July 2026 and runs for the first four weeks of Term 3.
The successful teacher will deliver engaging English lessons across Years 10 and 11, supporting literacy development, critical thinking, and academic achievement. They will foster positive classroom environments, maintain continuity of learning during the leave period, and contribute positively to a collaborative faculty and wider school community.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Support student wellbeing through safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environments
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure consistency and continuity of learning
- Contribute to a positive school culture and support broader school initiatives
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees
- Completion of HARKE onboarding requirements for safeguarding
