The school is seeking a passionate Senior English Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring English classes at VCE level, while also contributing to the broader secondary English program. The successful candidate will be dedicated to fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a love of literature and language in students.

• Teach VCE English with excellence, ensuring high academic standards.

• Deliver engaging lessons that develop strong literacy and analytical skills.

• Inspire a love of literature and language across senior year levels.

• Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment in the English faculty.

• Support students’ academic and personal growth in alignment with Christian values.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the secondary English program.

• A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the school’s values, with the ability to actively support and contribute to the Christian ethos of the school.

• Experience teaching English at VCE level.

• Eligible for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

• Full working rights in Australia or based in Australia and eligible for subclass 482 visa

• Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
