About the Position
This role focuses on delivering a project-based learning program for students in Years 8–10. The successful candidate will work closely with students to design and facilitate personalised learning experiences, connecting curriculum outcomes to real-world applications and individual interests. This is a highly relational role, suited to an educator who values student voice, engagement, and flexibility in their teaching approach. Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, project-based learning aligned with curriculum outcomes for Years 8–10
- Ensure student safety and wellbeing, maintaining strong safeguarding practices
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support learning outcomes
- Collaborate with staff to design interdisciplinary and real-world learning experiences
- Demonstrate leadership through mentoring students and supporting personalised learning pathways
Requirements
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
